If your tattoo has a lot of white pigment, And the laser isn't specifically for white pigment, the white can actually turn black. You will need to make sure that whatever light is being used in your laser will be able to remove the correct color of pigments you are trying to pull out. If you are trying to remove eyeliner, you can expect a metal shield (like an over sized metal contact) to be inserted over the eyeball and below the eyelid to protect the eye from being damaged.
